Ialmost always think of Dinosaurs when I design dragons, I don't remember looking at any particular type or having any refference in front of me other than what I've stored in my head!
I've not seen an underbite in any dinos like the one this dragon has I think that was inspired more by the Games workshop dragons sculpted by Nick Bibby in the 1980's, I was abig fan of his work when I was a kid and more than a few of his dragons had pronounced underbites. I hope that answers your question. :)

Hmm very nice. I see a little t-rex, or a similar dinosaur, in there. What other things might you be drawing inspiration from?
